Events Manager (Volunteer)

Women in Automotive Technology (WAT) is seeking a Bay Area–based Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of 3-5 events annually. In this role, the Events Manager will oversee all aspects of event execution, including scheduling, venue coordination, and on-site logistics. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for each event to ensure smooth planning and execution.

Time Commitment: ~2–4 hours per week.

Digital Community Manager (Volunteer)

Women in Automotive Technology (WAT) is seeking a Digital Community Manager to build and scale a high-value, engaged digital community for WAT Members. This role will be responsible for designing, launching, and actively managing WAT’s Slack-based community experience. The focus is not just growth; we also want to create a thoughtful and informed environment where Members consistently derive professional value.

Time Commitment: ~3–5 hours per week for setup (flexible, distributed throughout the week). As needed after initial setup.

Content Moderator (Volunteer)

Women in Automotive Technology (WAT) is seeking multiple Content Moderators to support the day-to-day execution and quality of WAT’s digital community (Slack-based). This role is responsible for maintaining a high-quality and engaging digital community by actively posting content, aggregating news and events, monitoring conversations, supporting community standards, and ensuring members consistently derive value from participation.

Time Commitment: ~2–4 hours per week.
